The membership list and its date are part of the data, not just a label above the table.
Choose an available index
Open Index Members and select the universe you want to examine. Check the membership provenance shown in the workspace. The list tells you which securities are included in this view and gives you a defined group for comparison.
Keep membership and price dates distinct
A historical price date does not automatically make a current member list historically correct. Companies enter and leave indexes over time. Review the available membership source and date, especially when you use earlier prices to study a group.
Sort around one question
Choose a return or technical field that fits your research, then sort and filter the constituent rows. Check missing values before interpreting the ordering. Open individual symbols when you need to understand the price path behind a table value.
Export with context
Use CSV export to take available rows into another tool. Record the selected universe, membership source, price date, and return period with the file. Those details let you understand and reproduce the comparison when you revisit it later.
