01

Find the event record.

Search available corporate actions for a symbol and date range. Covered event types include dividends, splits, distributions, listings, and ticker or exchange changes. The workspace shows the captured dates so you can connect an event record with your research.

02

Read the event type carefully.

Different events have different meanings. A split record, a cash distribution, and a ticker change should not be treated as the same kind of price observation. Review the fields shown for the event and check the coverage notes for that type.

03

Keep the chart and record together.

Use the history view to inspect the surrounding price bars, then return to the event details. Viewing a corporate-action record does not modify the historical prices. Verify the basis of the price series before drawing conclusions about adjustment effects.

The workspace displays captured event records and their coverage. It does not apply price adjustments.
