Compare chart patterns with a shared time window, and compare returns with actual return values.
Choose a coherent group
Start with symbols from a watchlist, a scan, or the same industry. CandleGlance supports up to twelve covered symbols. A related group gives the side-by-side view a clear purpose and makes differences easier to describe.
Check each chart’s coverage
Review the available dates for the selected symbols. A recently listed company may have a shorter history than another stock in the group. Check missing charts or quotes before assuming every panel represents the same complete period.
Separate shape from scale
Each stock trades at its own price level. Two lines or candle patterns can look similar while representing different percentage changes. Use the compact charts to inspect direction and structure, then use return figures when you need a numeric performance comparison.
Open the chart that needs space
Move into the full charting workspace for a closer look at a selected symbol. Adjust the range and add a focused set of indicators. Return to the group view when you want to compare the observation with the rest of your shortlist.
