Understand the rule, the delayed feed, and the one-time trigger before you depend on an alert.
Start with a supported rule
Open the alert center and choose a saved-scan or supported sector or market condition. Give the rule a clear purpose. If you use a saved scan, run and inspect the expression first so you know what a match means.
Check feed readiness
Review the feed status and coverage shown in the alert center. Evaluation uses delayed intraday observations and depends on the monitoring service running. A saved rule and an actively evaluable rule are different states, so check the status in the workspace.
Review the browser inbox
Triggered alerts appear in the browser inbox. The current alert workflow does not send email notifications and is not designed for real-time execution. Open the related scan or market workspace to inspect the observation that caused a trigger.
Revisit one-time conditions
Alerts are one-time conditions. After a trigger, review the rule and use the available controls when you want to monitor it again. Adjust a condition only when your research question changes, and keep the delayed timing in mind when interpreting the notification.
