Use earnings dates in your research

Connect company event dates with chart and watchlist reviews.

Use the calendar to find dates to check, then verify important details with the company.

Step 01

Find the covered company

Open the earnings calendar and review available dates for the symbols you are studying. Check the company name and ticker so the event belongs to the intended security. Coverage depends on the available data and may not include every company.

Step 02

Separate the date from the result

An earnings date identifies an event on the calendar. It does not provide consensus expectations, the release time, or the reported figures. Those fields are not currently included in the TradeClever calendar, so do not infer them from the presence of a date.

Step 03

Verify with the primary source

Use the company investor-relations site for confirmed announcements and reporting details. Dates can change, so revisit the source close to the event. If you keep research notes, include the source and the time you checked it.

Step 04

Connect the event with your review

Return to the symbol chart or watchlist with the verified date in mind. Keep price observations separate from explanations about the event until you have supporting information. A calendar helps organize research; it does not establish the direction of a price response.
